March Affirmations
It’s safe to say that time is truly flying. Whew! It’s March. The last month of the first quarter. The month that usually begins the emergence of Spring. Unless you’re in Chicago. Green is everywhere. It’s Women’s month. It’s a good time to call in abundance and growth. In order to call in anything that we want to grow and manifest, it is first important to really know the sound of our inner voices. It’s important that we are able to distinguish between our true thoughts and beliefs and those that have been imposed on us over time. This brings me to this month’s quote and theme.
“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
The theme this month is individualism and trusting ourselves. As an Aquarius, nothing grinds my gears more than being on the side of the masses. There are some situations, however, when facts are just facts. Like, Beyoncé, for instance. There’s no use in fighting about that. With that in mind though, I’d like to remind myself and anyone who is like me to take this theme gently. It’s not about deliberately opposing or fighting to not agree just because. It’s only about not being clouded by the noise of others. You have very unique reasons to like what you like. Liking something solely because someone else does is beneath you.
Let’s get into some affirmations.
I trust my inner compass.
I explore the opposite of my beliefs.
I feel no urge to forcefully agree.
I respect all individual thoughts and experiences, including my own.
I am not afraid to stand alone.
I do not judge others for their opposing views.
I do not judge myself for my opposing views.
I exist harmoniously with those who disagree with me.
I perfectly balance being firm in my beliefs and open to changing my mind.
This month, welcome conversations that may have felt uncomfortable to you in the past. Know that we all have reasons for taking the stances that we do. Ultimately, as long as we agree on the important things; that we all deserve Love, respect, and kindness, the things we disagree on matter less and less.
