May Affirmations
Whether you’ve been in quarantine at home, or still working so having to adjust to the world’s new quiet, we’ve all been gifted more time and space to be with our thoughts. I use the word “gifted” loosely. Our brains are pretty wild on their own, but especially in such an uncertain time, I’m sure most of us have gone down the rabbit holes of worst case scenarios. As a major positive thoughts police, I constantly have to remind myself to deal with some of my mind’s makings before slapping a bandaid on them. Which brings me to this month’s quote:
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” -C.G. Jung
When I came across this quote, I was so thankful for the reminder to remain rooted in awareness and intention. Sometimes, dark things come to us and it seems easier to decide that they’re true than to deal with why the thought occurred to begin with. Other times, more times than not, we have habits and behaviors rooted in themes that don’t serve us, but we don’t have the awareness of it to even make the needed shifts. Many of us are allowing our minds to run with narratives that aren’t good for us, not realizing that those thoughts are the root to our reality.
Here are some affirmations for strengthening our connection to our minds, and making them work for us, not against us.
My mind is powerful.
My mind is wired to expect good things.
My mind serves me for my highest good.
I set intentions and my thoughts follow.
My mind sets the path for positive beliefs and positive outcomes.
I am a master manifester.
I am open to making my unconscious conscious.
Everything around me started with my thoughts.
I am gentle with myself for the things that come to mind.
Here’s to creating a space where all that comes is welcome. I’m hoping for the room for us all to breathe through it. Everything we see and realize is for our highest good. Challenge your thoughts, but be gentle. Set the tone of positivity for your mind to do the rest of the magnificent work. Happy New Month.
